About ITG

In 2004, Intercel Telecoms Group (ITG) identified a scarcity of available broadband and fixed telephone services in developing countries around the world. To fill this gap, ITG established its IP backbone network to carry high speed broadband Internet and VoIP services, a cost effective alternative to traditional PSTN service.

By utilizing satellite for the backhaul, as well as new IP technologies, such as WiMax and Broadband over Power line (BPL), to reach the last mile, ITG is able to offer carrier class communications to underserved areas worldwide.

ITG owns and manages its own VoIP network from its headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia, serving customers in over 220 countries.

ITG's investment in a carrier class, VoIP and broadband infrastructure, marketed under the Intercel brand names of Maximus and Maximus e2e, make possible a hosted "white label" platform which can be licensed in various forms to businesses that wish to resell a wide range of Voice Over IP (VoIP) services.
